News 2 - The Committee on the Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and the Disabled recommends that the Parliament forwards for further Elaboration the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On the Status of War Veterans, and Safeguards of their Social Protection" (re Privileges concerning Entry to the Higher Educational Establishments and Payment for Communal Services) - Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

The Committee on the Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and the Disabled recommends that the Parliament forwards for further Elaboration the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On the Status of War Veterans, and Safeguards of their Social Protection" (re Privileges concerning Entry to the Higher Educational Establishments and Payment for Communal Services)

Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No.2052), in case of death of the fighting participants, disabled war veterans and war veterans, their benefits will be retained for their family members. Moreover, the said war veterans and other persons subject to the regulations of the Law will be entitled to hors concours enrolment to the private higher educational establishments, and their studies will be funded for the State budget funds.
